NJGAP is set up to intake and profile 15-30 greyhounds per month. On average we are placing 20 per month.

Once a greyhound reaches NJGAP they are bathed and groomed, checked by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, teeth cleaned, inoculated and are given de-worming medications.

We ask that the adopter take their new greyhound to the veterinarian of
their choosing for suture removal, well visit which includes a heartworm
test and the purchase of heartworm medication. It is NJGAP's belief (and
most veterinarians) that dogs should stay on heartworm medication all year round.

We are selective about the homes that our greyhounds go in to and are
careful during the intake and profiling process of each of our greyhounds
to assure a successful match of greyhound and adopter.

When a greyhound reaches NJGAP it has a HOME FOR LIFE. We are here to answer any of your questions and provide you with information and guidance throughout the life of your greyhound.

We look forward to hearing from you!!
